Howard Hughes: How did it feel, strapping that thing to your back and flying like a bat out of hell?
Cliff Secord: Well it's the closest I'll ever get to heaven.
The Rocketeer is one of my favorite heroes!
An average man, flying through the cloud's on a jet pack wearing an awesome looking helmet, fighting nazi's, in the golden age of the 1930's. Whats not to love?!
I own the comics (r.i.p Dave Stevens) and the 1991 movie, the movie is pretty awesome for its time! Shame it never took off (excuse the pun) and made an impact at the time.
But these days i think it would take off and fly to the heavens if a new movie was made. Not a sequel, but an origin story. Damn i want it to happen, someone should start a petition? :]
I wanted this picture to look like concept art, like movies release before a film is made.
I tried to make Hollywood look kinda of like a wasteland, as if the nazi's were about to take over. But only one man has the power to stop them! The Rocketeer!

I absolutely love this! The ruined Hollywood and the zeppelin are my favorite parts but and this is only constructive the only thing that seemed to be out of place were the airplanes since biplanes dont seem like the type of airplane for an invasion but overall its absolutely fantastic!
